Rage

But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Colossians 3:8

Rage is anger amplified. It is out of control and can have horrible consequences. People get so angry and enraged that they take another persons life. Rage should never happen. It should be stopped at the early stages of anger. I, myself, have flown into rages at the beginning if my healing journey from the abuse. I had confronted my father and could have easily killed him had my friend not intervened. I was hoarse for days after that. Rage took a tremendous effect on my body. It's unhealthy and it's ugly. Before we allow our anger to reach the point of no return we must find any way we can to stop it. Ask the Lord to calm you and stomp out the fire. Rage left alone can only become disastrous. Pray for peace and forgiveness if you are experiencing underlying anger.
