Needs

What do you need? Do you really need it or is it something you want? There's a difference. Sometimes we think we know what we need best when in actuality it's what we want. Are we able to seperate our needs from our wants? We often become dissatisfied in our lives because our needs aren't being met. We begin to blame others because we aren't getting what we need, resentment filters in resulting in unhappiness. Do you know that God knows everything we need? Even before we take it to him prayer! He knows what is best for us in our lives! He knows our desires, too. Perhaps the Lord isn't responding to your prayers the way you want Him to. Think about that. Maybe it's because what we are praying for is not in our best interest. We then need to re-examine what it is we are asking for. Also, the Lord answers our prayers in His time, not ours. You may find that the things you were praying for that you haven't received are not part of God's plan for your life.You may find that after a time what you thought was so important and that you needed aren't so important after all. Patience is the key to our needs being fulfilled. Boy, I struggle in this area! I am most impatient! But we have little choice but to put our trust in our Father because he know our needs best. We have to keep faith and remind ourselves constantly that our life is in His hands, not our own. What everyone on this earth NEEDS is Jesus in their lives. Ask Him to come into your heart today! May all your needs be filled!
